Analysis of ABAP SAP Projects
SAP is a software suite that enable organisations to manage their business processes, such as accounting, human resources, supply chains, data management and customer relationship management.
ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) is SAP’s proprietary, 4GL programming language. It enables SAP systems to be customised to meet the requirements of the user organisation. For example:
- the creation of new functionality
- integration of SAP systems to other systems or applications
- generating customised reports that provide information into the business.
This short report analyses projects coded in ABAP, in the ISBSG Development and Enhancement Repository. It examines their size, productivity and delivery speed of ABAP projects.
