A  Measurement Specialist  is a professional with extensive knowledge, skills, and experience in the measurement of ICT products and services. They plan, design, and manage metric systems related to products and services. Standard methods and techniques are also used to perform measurements, derive indices, and build benchmarks. Â
Certify yourself as a Measurement Specialist , in compliance with the requirements of the  UNI 11621-6:2021 standard and the CEPAS certification scheme ( SCH174 ). In the new millennium, there’s an increasing tendency to move “fast” without much concern for precision and accuracy when estimating. “Speed” and “precision” can be good allies, but only if performed in the correct order.Â
The belief that speed implies accuracy is a complex psychological phenomenon, often traced back to cognitive biases and the brain’s information processing mechanisms. This attitude can lead to a distorted perception of one’s own abilities and excessive confidence in one’s decisions, known as  overconfidence .
