Subscription Services
The ISBSG delivers its analysis reports, project management charts & tables, and some of its data and tools via its subscription services. This method of delivery provides a stream of new and updated information to help with software portfolio maintenance & support and new development & enhancements. There are three subscription services available:

When you become a Maintenance & Support Subscriber you gain access to a secure section of the ISBSG website that provides the following:
- A copy of the ISBSG Maintenance & Support Special Analysis Report titled "Managing Your Maintenance & Support Environment" (usually €200)
- A series of reports, charts and tables that provide key information to help with planning and managing maintenance & support services. New reports, charts and tables are added regularly.
- 10% discount off all ISBSG products and services.
Cost: Initial Individual subscription €120

When you become a Development & Enhancement Subscriber you gain access to a secure section of the ISBSG website that provides the following:
- Copies of all ISBSG development & enhancement Special Analysis Reports (usually €200 each)
- A series of Estimating and Project Management Charts & Tables that provide key information to help with the estimation and management of software development & enhancement.
- Exclusive use of the on-line estimation Reality Check tool so you can quickly check how realistic your project estimates are when compared against industry performance.
- A free, single user license for the Early Estimate Checker tool
- This tool quickly generates estimates of the work effort and elapsed time (duration), required to complete a software development project, plus project delivery rate and speed of delivery. Estimates are generated in a matter of moments, based on software size plus other available project characteristics.
- 10% discount off all ISBSG products and services

Large corporations primarily involved in the software industry need IT software project history data that is reliable, verifiable, standardised and representative of current technologies. The ISBSG has the largest open repository of software project history in the world.
This annual corporate subscription allows organisations to use the ISBSG data for their estimating, quoting, benchmarking, outsource contracts, research and planning. This data is particularly helpful for software suppliers and customers alike in highlighting unrealistic quotes and providing a benchmark on which to base realistic outsourcing contract targets.
Subscriber benefits include:
- Access to the most recent and complete ISBSG data from the Development & Enhancement repository (5,000+ projects). Data can be tailored to suit the corporation's requirements. Note: The corporate data is more extensive than that offered on the ISBSG Estimating, Benchmarking and Research Suite (ie 203 fields compared to 106).
- Individual web subscriptions for the stated number of users allowing access to special reports charts, tables and tools on the subscribers' area of the website.
- Email support/clarification
ISBSG Repository Data Licensing
The ISBSG will issue a license to use the data and will send the licensee a soft copy of the data.
This License allows:

Use of the data by the nominated number of licensee employees, solely as end users (that is, for licensee employee use and not for use by others, or for resale, alone or as a component of any other product, to any other person or company).

Inclusion in and distribution of the data as part of the licensee’s software metrics repository.

Inclusion of the data in any hard copy report, research paper or image presentation produced by the licensed users. (The source of the published data must always be acknowledged including the words: “International Software Benchmarking Standards Group – www.isbsg.org ”)
Restrictions:
- The licensee may not transfer the data (including back-up copies) or the rights under this license to another party.
- The licensee may not modify, adapt, rent, lease, loan or sell the data or any part of the data.
Cost: Initial Subscription €5,200 for 1-5 Users
Annual Renewal €2,080
