RECENT NEWS:  The research Institute: National ICT Australia (NICTA) is currently collecting data on Service Oriented Architecture implementations.  NICTA will then complete research to identify effort factors associated with SOA-based development that will lead to proposals for cost/effort estimation methods.  You are invited to provide data via an on-line survey.   If you supply your contact details (not mandatory) you will receive a complementary copy of the research conclusions.

COSMIC Industry Data Release 1 is available
February 2010
This data release contains data from 352 projects with a software size measured using the COSMIC Functional Size Measurement method.  Also included is a copy of the initial in-depth analysis report of the COSMIC data.
