The subscription is annual, providing annual updates to the data as well as email support and advice. The data set provided via the Corporate Data Subscription can be tailored to suit the licensee.
5,000 free credits to the use the online ISBSG Data Portal and OLAP data analysis tool are included in the Corporate Data Subscription. Use the portal to search, filter and view ISBSG software project history data. Select the data you are interested in, view a standard set of reports, and use the OLAP tool for data analysis. This annual Corporate Data Subscription allows organisations to use the ISBSG data for their estimating, quoting, benchmarking, outsource contracts, research and planning. There are different levels of Corporate Data Subscriptions available depending on the number of users:
- 1-5 Users
- Up to 10 Users
- Site Licenses (Up to 25 Users; Up to 75 Users; Up to 150 Users; Unlimited Users)
ISBSG Repository Data Licensing
The ISBSG will issue a license to use the data and will send the licensee a soft copy of the data.
This License allows:

Use of the data by the nominated number of licensee employees, solely as end users (that is, for licensee employee use and not for use by others, or for resale, alone or as a component of any other product, to any other person or company).

Inclusion of the data in any hard copy report, research paper or image presentation produced by the licenses users. (The source of the published data must always be acknowledged)

A Site License allows inclusion in and distribution of the data as part of the licensee's software metric repository for as long as the subscription is renewed.
Restrictions:
- The licensee may not transfer the data (including back-up copies) or the rights under this license to another party.
- The licensee may not modify, adapt, rent, lease, loan or sell the data or any part of the data.
